I have been teaching at HE level at Arts University Plymouth since 2013 as an illustration, BA lecturer. Working across all years I love to expand on the basic principles of image making by using analogue process as a thinking tool. As a tool to connect to themselves, their creative sensibilities and content in more depth. Having been MA Illustration lead for 8 years I like to bring critical theory in where possible, challenging the student to think more critically, of the content and wider context of the work they are creating.
